Canada cheapest for BBQ, or is it?

Is Canada The Cheapest For BBQ Equipment?
Yes, I know, 2 newsletters in a couple of days, what’s happened?
Maresa’s watching her favorite soap, Coronation Street, and I’m not a really a soap person, so it’s a good time for me to do some research for new pages to add to the Barbecuehut website.
While I was looking through barbecue related stuff on the Internet I came across a barbecue smoker on Amazon at what to me is an unbelievably low price. I was actually looking on the Canadian version of Amazon, I usually compare items on the com, co.uk and ca sites. What surprised me was the price difference between the same product for sale in the UK, USA and in Canada.
Baking cakes, winning Nascar races, ironing or anything else I'm no expert at. But with barbecue, I am the guy you need to speak to as quickly as you can! But before I reveal my secrets, let me quickly ask you - Are you ready for... A step by step Barbecue Competition Winning System that's easy to understand and simple to use with little effort and no prior skill... If you’re not then don’t look here.
To get to the point, the item I’m talking about is the Char-Broil Offset Smoker American Gourmet Grill you can view it here…
What stood out was the fact that is was available for one third of it’s usual price so I checked it on the USA and the UK sites. First of all I looked on Amazon.com and converting the currency it’s even cheaper here, in fact it’s nearly a third cheaper than the .cn price!
For Info here’s the item on the .com site…
Next I checked on the UK site. Now I know that here in the UK we tend to pay more for things but I was amazed at our much extra the cost was. For Info here’s the link…
It works out that here in the UK we would need to pay more than 2.5 times the Canadian sale price and nearly 4 times the USA price! However, with the price that it sells at in Canada when it’s not on sale it is the most expensive place to buy it.
You might have noticed that I’ve not put any monetary values in this newsletter, the reason being that emails with lots of currency symbols in them tend to get sent straight to the spam folder.
Anyway, the question I asked at the top of the page, 2 newsletters in a couple of days, what’s happened?
Well it started off as a bit of a rant, a common phrase we have over here is rip-off Britain and based on USA prices I’m sure that when you compare the prices you can see why. However when you look at the standard price, when it’s not on sale in Canada, it looks like we’re not the only ones.
This is certainly not a review of the Char-Broil Offset Smoker American Gourmet Grill, or a recommendation, but if you do live in Canada and are on the look-out for a smoker it’s definitely worth a look at this while it’s discounted.
That’s all for now and feel free to email me if you have any comments.
Goodbye for now.
